Advocacy and Advice Support Worker

12 hrs/pw Salary (S01-29) £26532.15 P/A (inc OLW/NI/PENSION) Pro-rata

South London Tamil Welfare Group works with the Tamil Community in South London for over 24 years in developing solutions to the Community needs. We have designed an exciting project to support the young Tamil refugees and Asylum seekers through advice and Guidance on various issues. This is a Pan London Project.

We our inviting applications from Enthusiastic, and service orientated persons to deliver a range of advice and guidance to young Tamil refugees and asylum seekers on the following post.

Applicants should have

  • Atleast 1 yr experience in providing Advice and Guidance ( OISC Level 1 or 2)
  • Ability to Communicate in both Tamil and English with a variety of people
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent organizing skills and interpersonal Skills
  • Willingness and ability to follow courses relating to Advice and Guidance
  • Active commitment to equal opportunities
