Re-advertising the Post of  Tamil Women Employment Support Out-reach Worker

26 hrs/pw Salary £7.5 per hour (including NI/Pension)

Fixed Term Contract from September 2009 – March 2010

South London Tamil Welfare Group works with the Tamil Community in South London for over 24 years in developing solutions to the Community needs. The project is designed to provide employment advice, support, guidance, education and training to motivate them either to getting into employment or moving towards employment and is employment focused, targeting inactive, unemployed Tamil Women (ethnic minority community) experiencing a range of training needs and barriers to employment.

We are inviting applications from Enthusiastic, and service orientated persons to deliver a range of advice, support and guidance, education and training for Tamil Community on the following post.

Applicants should have

  • At least one year experience of working in Training and Employment support field
  • Fluency in Tamil and English with good communication skills both written andverbal including professional| telephone manners
  • Computer literate and able to use windows based packages
  • Necessary skills and knowledge about Employment support and skill Training and support service
  • Should be able to take up the appointment immediately
